My name is Dr Amar Afzal. I work as an NHS General Practitioner Partner and have done so, since April 2006, in London, United Kingdom.

I have been a Doctor for almost 20 years, having qualified from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom in 2001. My passion is continued learning and development to provide my patients with the best evidence-based care.

Communication is the key to building Doctor-Patient relationships and this along with education and technology is the key to developing Novel ways of dealing with illness in the 21st Century.

Having strategised, in my role as Clinical Director for a Primary Care Network, as well as being a front line GP in the fight against Coronavirus, I know the paramount importance of finding Novel ways to deal with COVID-19 and its complications.

We must do this quickly, collaboratively and effectively. It is imperative we are not caught short in our attempts to deal with any second waves of COVID-19 or other infective illnesses; whilst simultaneously managing the fallout from this devastating pandemic.

I wish to share my experience, expertise and Novel ideas in helping prevent and fight illness together!
